Conan has in recent times relied almost exclusively on slapstick and self mockery, he is a shadow of his former days. The best thing about the show is Max Weinberg who plays in the E street band with Bruce Springsteen
Leno is too PC and Letterman's jokes simply aren't cutting enough.
On Fox Classics they still air old Johnny Carson episodes and he is so much funnier.

i guess people just have different perceptions of humour. IMO Rove is funny, original, and has a fast-thinking type of thing about him. Oz/British humour just seems soo much funnier than American comedy in general.

Rove is terribly overrated. The only thing funny about Conan is triumph, and those celebrity impersonations. Micallef was a try-hard on 9, and should go back to the ABC where he was much better. If you want funny comedy, then you can see local stand up comedy.
