concepts for BOW (1 Viewer)

hey everyone,

my friends and i are totally being had by the education process and the stress is taking me to unimaginable measures as such.

as im hitting a level of insecurity about my BOW, what is everyone's concepts in regards to their BOW?

um...... i have no idea... im doing 3 paintings on canvases... (stress!) of me and my friends from like yr 1 or something to this year (the first is yr 1 the second yr 8 and the third this yr...) so its all friends ship and change... all that...

yeah, im pretty much on track, i'm looking at me and my home town and the issues that surround it. I've basically finished what i first intended to do (Mixed Media Sculpter - totem poles), so now i've started to build on that and create flat totems out of clay.

we have done alot on practical, but our teacher is great, she keeps us on track so the theory doesn't fall behind.
if you don't have a teacher like this i suggest you do your own planning and set mini goals for when you whan't practical components completed by.

i wanted to drop art but now cant so i'm just crapping on in my artwork, apparently its something to do with travel or somethin

just do random pictures that you love and are happy about... then come up with a concept. I was talking to an art teacher the other day and he checked out my bow and asked me to do a photoshop appropriation of botticelli's birth of venus into a photo of my Nanna sitting on and old car - Zephyr (hence the botticelli) it doesn't fit into my work and it makes no sense to me, but i did it and i love it... when i asked him how it works with my artwork i got "i don't care lis, just do it - we'll figure it out later"
