I got this email back today

Dear XXXXXX

Thank you for your email and I am sorry it has taken a while to get back to
you.

If you apply to UNSW Medicine as a university student, then your grades
(not your GPA) are taken into account in determining your equivalent UAI
.
These university results are combined with our school UAI in the ratio of
50:50. An equal mix of distinctions and high distinctions would give you
the highest academic score for your university results.

Regards

Selection Assistant

What I dont get is the bolded bit. Because this is not in line with SCU sheet that we use to calculate our nrsl rank, however she is right about the 6.5+ gpa bit as that equates to the highest selection rank. (99.5). So has she made an error or is there more to it?
