Conics in Fitzpatrick (1 Viewer)

Are HSC questions similar to that of the last two exercises on Conics in Fitzpatrick? The reason I ask this is because I am having a bit of difficult dealing with some of these questions (guess its just one of my weak topics) by myself, tending to take glances at the worked solutions.

I don't have the Fitzpatrick book here right now. But I would think that they would be slightly easier than most books. You are better off doing Cambridge or Terry Lee if that is the case.
