I'm hoping to do a critical analysis of the ABC mini series 'Marking Time' for my PIP, but I'm a little lost on how to go about it. Does anyone who has done a critical analysis on a film have any tips? And does anyone know where I can find examples of PIPs that have analysed films?

One tip because I had a whole discussion with one of the SAC teachers at my school about this, if you are doing content analysis it HAS to be a systematic analysis of the film or series. As in if your looking for violence in cartoons you might keep a tally on how many times there is a punch, kick etc. Thats a simple analysis but what your looking at needs to have process.
If you simply analyse it then it is not content analysis. You can still do it as secondary research though.
