I don't understand how to incorporate it in, does there have to be a chapter devoted to it, or can it just be integrated in the chapters of the central material?
any help would be greatly appreciated.

To the best of my knowledge (more accurately, based on the information provided by my teacher) you can do either. This will depend on the focus of your investigation - is change and continuity a key element?
