Pwar, you must fix this mess- you are the BoS MQ spokesperson regarding all things Coop!

Any uni worth its weight in gold leaves it to the last moment to put up the lists. I swear its like a game of chicken to see who puts it up last amongst Macq, USyd and UTS. Haha.

Q on math133

is the calculus textbook used for math135 the same one that can be used for math133 ?

cheers

yeah it should be the same since maths133 is the advance version of 136 and i think 136 uses the same book as 135

although you can double check by looking at the topics they are teaching (maths136) on the maths page and check along with your textbook

yeah that 20% thing is great but makes me wonder why they are on sale..maybe they will be changing next sem and they already know it will so they are getting rid of stock and then we can't sell ours later on ...hmmm

Ack, you shouldn't have said that!

*in monotone, *cough* *cough* voice*

The notes and booklist will not be online this semester, because of a combination of issues to do with lazy lecturers, computer problems, and technical difficulties. (Read: A competitor is forcing them to constantly change prices and not release their list)

There are hardcopies of both in the respective shops.

YOu got a 20% on textbooks (you can tell they're texts because they have a "33" on the label about halfway down) because of the said competitor.

That sucks because I only get 25% with my employee discount, so I'm not getting much more of a deal than you guys.

so whats gunna happen 1st/2nd day back at uni.......let me guess there would be 934539943474272002 people lined up outside the co op bookshop.
and there would be idiot students inside who are indecisive, wondering if they should buy this textbook or buy it 2nd hand, while blood thirsty pple are dying outside
and yet no-one to blame

go this wk

or wait for 2wks into into the sem when the craze dies down

Where is this other joint, name etc"?
I don't know where it is, although it would be nearby. It's called "Text in the City". Lol, and it's not even in the city

This is really annoying. Either way I think I'll just buy all my books new this sem, it saves the hassle of having to find someone with the books I want and then if I can't get any second-hand I have to line up next week at the book shop when it's hella busy. Does anyone know how busy it is around now (week before class)?

in terms of busy-ness of the co-op i think of long lines stretching to the newsagency.

Why didn't you say hello? Cyan was brave enough to say hello.

The shop had a steady flow of people at the registers. It'll be the same as sem 1, huge lines etc.
