Im doing a Commerce/economics degree with Actuarial Studies as a major. Therefore I have to complete MATH1151 and MATH1251 in stead of ECON1202 and ECON1203.
However I wish to study FINS1612 which has corequisites of ECON1101 and ECON 1202.

So if I take MATHS1151 and ECON1101 am I able to also study FINS1612?

Thanks

Dont think so, it specifically says u need to do econ1101 and econ1202. There might've been a chance if it said in the UNSW Handbook that math1151 is a suitable alternative to econ1101, but it didnt.

Yes, a lot of people do actuarial studies/finance. You'll be able to do fin1612 without qma/qmb if you're studying act studies.
