could someone please break down this WAP/GPRS thing?? (1 Viewer)

hey guys,

I got an early xmas present and it was a Nokia 2650

(not the best phone ever but definitly an improvement over my previous phone)

now to get ringtones and wallpaper from my computer onto my phone, I understand I need to use a WAP/GPRS thingo :s

can someone give me a basic run down on what this involves to setup and roughly how much ot will cost?

also, would bluetooth be an option or nahhh?

Did you get a usb cable with your phone? If you did, you can use it transfer files including pictures, video clips and wallpaper to and from your phone. If you didn't, buy one that is compatible with your nokia phone.

no, I didn't get a USB cable with my phone but I'm happy to hear that there is such a thing as a cable that will connect from my phone to my computer!

is a place like Dick Smith the best place to get these types of cables from?

Dick Smith's good, you could also try a phone store, as they usually have all the accessories that are compatible to the phones they sell.
