Since I transfered degrees this year, how do I go about getting my course credits transfered? Is it an automatic process or do I have to apply:)?

I transferred internally last year and the uni automatically sent me a letter saying that all my units had counted towards the new degree program. Since you transferred externally im not sure if the process is the same..there is probably something on the website about credit transfer..i'll have a look :)

Hmm, I don't think this has happened in my case, as in my "Exam Results and Enrolments" page it says that I have earned 0 units in my Bachelor of Finance Program (see attached image):(. I guess I will have to send off an email:).

after i transferred, the units that i had completed when i was enrolled in my old degree were listed (110 credit points) and only the units that i have completed after the transfer (40 credit points) are listed under my new degree. I received a letter stating that all the credit points earned from my previous degree transferred over :)

see the attatched picture (it's pretty crap quality cos i had to take 2 screenshots and put them together and resize but hopefully it shows what i mean)

Hmm, OK, so did you enquire about that before they sent you the letter or did you just assume that you would get the credit and then they automatically sent you the letter? I think I will send an email just to be on the safe side:).

I kinda assumed that i would get credit automatically after talking to the engineering and maths faculty people and didnt make any further enquiries. You should email them to be on the safe side

The new one, faculty of business & law.

hit Vicki Drew up if you can find her email... or, better yet, go into the office and see Mattie - she's a hottie!

Don't you think that Professor Mark Bray would be more qualified to answer my question though:p?

Haha, well I doubt she would have a dedicated email address and I don't want to drive all that way if I can avoid it:p.

Well if anyone else has the same question, I just got a reply email from the Faculty of Business and Law saying that I will need to complete a Credit Application form at the Faculty Officer in room SRS130:).
