when do we get th e course guidelines or whatever their called?

coz each of the subjects i have picked, i have never done anything like them, so i wanted to have a glance through the guidelines to give me a bit of an idea at least what the go was

im guessing we prob dont get them to the first lec or tute or something, huh?
