hey i am new to site and just wondering something. I pretty much crashed and burned in my assessment today, which is 30% of the assessments mark, and i was wondering how much that might effect my total UAI because im heaps worried now. Any help would be great.

thanks

You should ask this question in the "UAI/HSC Marks (Guidance and Counsel)" section of the forum. In short the answer to your question is that you can still achieve a high UAI if you work very hard for the rest of the year.

Well 30% may seem like alot, but it's your trials and final exams which have a much larger impact on your UAI. There's still time to catch up and improve your rank, just keep working at it and don't give up.

Don't worry mate, I had a similar experience to you and all the advice I had gathered from past HSC students, teachers and friends is that really it shouldn't matter or hinder your chances of a high UAI if you put your head down from now on and work extra hard. Just don't stress out over it and remember that all you need to do is work a little harder.
