Creative Writing Imaginative Journeys HELP! (1 Viewer)

doing advanced english...and have no clue as to how to begin writing a GOOD imaginative journey....one thats not cliche..because apparently everything that i write about is cliche.....wrote about a coma...i thought it was a good story-got 10/15 cos its a coma/dream=cliche

anybody have any ideas or maybe examples of creative writing pieces which could help me to get better at creative writing?

yay first reply.........umm in my trial papers we were asked to do an imaginative journey......plus im doing it as an AOS so would b convenient..

Read "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner" By Coleridge. His poem gives a good example of a good imaginative journey that is not cliched, like a dream.
