The two ways to request a copy under the free service aren't the most convenient (fax and mail), and it will take them the 14 days. So if you think it's worth paying to get it quicker, go for it, but I refuse to pay money to an organisation to see information they have on file about me. Someone else might now, but I believe the current legislation requires Baycorp to provide this free service (and to service requests within 14 days).
You dont have to pay baycorp you just send them a request by mail to get a copy of your credit file.It takes 10 working days.It is your right under the privicy act to get a copy.
