im gonna start writing my plan out for my essay. what needs to be in a good crime fiction essay? i usually set it out by the introduction, introduce the text, relate to the question. then the body of the essay which is going over how the texts relate to the conventions of crime fiction, then relating back to the question. then the conclusion etc etc

this isnt getting me the BEST marks though, so .. what do yous suggest?

How the texts relate to the convention??? Do you mean how the conventions of the text relate to the question?
