The workload wasn't that bad - I can remember that, and there was a reader that you had to buy and read through it every week, ah, wait til I get home. This uni computer is increadabily slow

I did Global and Crime and Criminology back in first year in 2003. They've most probably changed the outline, but anyways.

Global:
Seminar Leadership - 25%
Mid-Semester Review - 20%
Essay - 40%
Multiple Choice Test - 15%

It's pretty easy going, nothing too hard.

Crime and Criminology:
Major Essay - 40%
Tutorial Exams (x2) - 40%
Presentation - 10%
Participation - 10% (submit three sets of study notes = 3 marks, participation = 7 marks)

This subject was pretty good. It focuses on criminological theories mainly.

Seminar Leaderships are sort of mini-presentations. At the beginning of the session your class is split up into 5 or so groups and each week someone leads the discussion and makes a presentation. You'll need to hand in a copy of the presentation to your tutor and makes notes for the people in your group.

thts exactly like the social policy reading assignment which im getting a credit +/distinction in so far, and that was only after the first 5 weeks
