What the hell is cross-vesting?

This should hopefully be in your book. I don't want to tell you too much because I am relying on something my tutor said in passing in my intro to law class and I am sure it has changed since I did legal studies. Cross vesting is where the State to give its power to a federal court as State might want a federal court to deal with certain State issues because it is convenient and a lot cheaper to do so. I believe it is no longer allowed as it was deemed unconsitutional but I would ask your teacher to find out...its important for Family law
