Well what u all get!


I got 85% with almost no study (comon 24 was on Thursday Night ) and that was 2nd at my skool. Highest was 91 or 92%

i got 83% in mine...but we've compared it to CSSA and our schools one was kinda harder

highest at mine was a scaled mark of 99% i think his raw was 95%,

i was third with 92%

so ur school scales your marks internally as well?
we jus have raw

yeah they scaled it to a mean of 70 for some reason, im not complaining got another 4 marks =) , they say coz its selective for some reason they scale it but do u other ppl at selectives get your marks standardised?

bit weird it seems like its only the social science faculty that does it at my school

but oh well...extra marks

yeh my school selective, and even the 4U marks remain raw marks

yeah well i think eco might even be the only subject that does standardise the marks

we wouldnt have a clue what mark the school sends the bored of studies as our assessment since its meant to be confidential so who knows if ur marks get fiddled with then

but either way, the board of studies only use your rankings...and prolly dun care wat marks u have

yea but to rank u against the others in the state that dont go to ur school, they look at ur marks

its ur mark in the hsc that they are most interested in and particularly the mean of the cohort's in school assessment as compared to the external assessment

I meant marks as in internal assessment marks
they dont look at that at all

damn, i thought i did well with 81%. that was 1st... out of 6. i lose too many marks in the essays, 'specially the stimulus ones.
