Custom build yourself a PC (gaming machine) within a budget of $2,500-$3,300.

Obviously very good video graphics card & sound card is extremely important.

I would prefer it custom built from www.f2f.com.au

Thanks.

EDIT: I would also prefer 17 or 15 inch LCD inch monitor within the budget - if possible.

That website is so disorganised, very difficult to read.

What do you think of this system? Worth the money?

Would it be a above average game system? (i'm a noob).

Intel PENTIUM 4 3200MHz CPU
GA 8S648X 8X AGP P4 Mother Board
512MB DDR-RAM
120GB(8M CACHE) Hard Disk Drive
1.44 Floppy Disk Drive
128MB GEFORCE 4 MX440SE Video Card
17" LG LCD Monitor
SAMSUNG PS2 HANGUL & ENGLISH Keyboard
MS OPTICAL WHEEL Mouse & Pad
ATX 300W Midi-Tower Case
LG CD-RW(52X52X32)
LG DVD-ROM (16X)
Sound Card Built in
1000W SUB WOOFER Stereo Speaker

$2000

I so want a 17 inch LCD monitor.

if your a gamer and going to use this system for gaming, then you need something much better than a 128MB GEFORCE 4 MX440SE Video Card

also Lite-On is a much better brand for CDRW/DVD than LG

do u really want a floppy drive?

GET THE FLOPPY!!!! steal it.. save $10:)
cos when u want to upgrade the firmware and BIOS sometimes its the most easiest and reliable method..

mabbe PC3700 ram so u can OC it ?HEAPS^^ use 1GB
GET A RADEON ATI 9600 or better with at least 128mb RAM
and get many cooling systems cos its cheap and stops the comp overheating if u OC it..

games technology is moving faster than consumer vga cards can handle, i would wait for the next gen of vga cards to play half life 2 and newer games on max ...
