I dont understand why i have this kinda error
1. my disc is not scratched
2. it was working fine a few months ago, so i couldnt have burnt it improperly
3. i havent used it for 3 months so i couldnt have scratched it or did any damages...

:( cd check takes ages :(
any ideas on the causes?

Try some different disks in the drive. If you get the same error, it's a hardware problem - try cleaning out the CD drive, checking that all the cables are connected right, and/or replacing it.

The most obvious solution is a damaged disk. Try the disk that gives the CRC error in a different drive. If it still stuffs up, it's the disk that's damaged. If it doesn't, then you probably have a faulty CD drive.

Apart from that, not much comes to mind.

yeah go get cd check, it has a media rating system for dvds

mine turned out:

manufacturer: bad
media: bad

prolly thats why

yeah cause like other discs which was burnt with the same media died as well :-/
moral of the story: never buy bulkpak +/-r dvds

Haha 50c each. Now I pay a bit more and buy the TDK ones ($40 for 50).

CD-Rs, I use TDK or Verbatim. Both aroudn 40c/disc.
