Why are there 2 different prices on the same book?

The only difference is the page number...why do i have to pay quite a few extra bucks for a few extra pages? (I cant even remember which version i brought???)

I'm buying it for a lawyer friend. :uhhuh:

Asking here because i know a few of the BOSers here have purchased and read it.

The first, cheaper one is the new edition. There was probably a typo or s bad sentence in the earlier one.

The second one was probably retailed at 30$, but the next one less because of any number of reasons, like it doing shit so they have to lower the price, like them making more copies etc.
