Database Link to VB (1 Viewer)

Hey i have to link a database to VB for my major project and im using Excel cause VB 6 wont let me use access 2000 and so on. I was wondering if someone could help me with a few things:

1. How do i link a picture to a certain name eg. i have profiles of people and i want their pic to come up with their name
2. How do i change the database through the code. eg if i want to add a new person into the database through VB. And also if i want to update the stock when i have ordered a product.

2) Have the records store the path to a picture to load, instead of storing the picture itself in the database.

3) We cannot give you details of how to write the code exactly for you. We don't even know how your database is set up. Read up on DAO in VB6.

OK thanks but can u explain what you mean by reference correct version of DAO? How do i know which one?
