i really need techniques which are used in deception in films. im doing how to lose a guy in 10days and i need to analyse the techniques which are used for deception! plz help im stuck..and have no idea what to write ..

but according to the trailer it was about some girl going against the popular peope but in the movie the girl joins the popular people instead

eg. having someone play with a Truman doll house complete with Truman and wife dolls out in the real world, while they're watching The Truman Show.
