Depth and Breadth Component (1 Viewer)

When i was reading the program structure of the commerce degree they broke it down into 2 components: the depth and the breadth. I was wondering do we complete our Depth Component first before we complete our Breadth Component?

The Depth Component consist of Compulsory cores, Flexible cores and Major requirements.

The Breadth Component consist of Free Electives and General Education.

And what does the Breadth Component consist of?

You can do them concurrently, whatever works best. Some students use those free electives to double major. The general education component are course you do which are outside of the ASB. This could be say some Arts course or Science course etc., just not from the ASB.
