Hi, does anyone have a simple method for this dot point? I think I must have missed it in class unless Pasteur's swan neck flask counts. Cheers

Sample exam question
1. Describe an experiment to investigate organisms in food. (5 -7 marks)
  • Main steps of method - Place liquefied food onto agar plates and incubate for 24hours to a week – expand on this.
  • Safety – include at least one and reason
  • Results (only include if asked for)
  • Not at 370C so no human pathogens grow
  • Discuss reliability (repeat experiment) and validity (make sure the experiment tests the aim)
  • Include fact a control was used
