Deutsch entdecken - German Exhibition by the Goethe Institut: ATP, Redfern (1 Viewer)

Hallo Leute!

Thought I'd post details of this thing that sounds rather good. It is an expo on the German language and culture put on by the Goethe Institut at the Australian Technology Park next to Redfern Station. They have a bay in the ATP and apparently dolled it up to make it into a big interactive experience for anyone. The thing is, it finished on the 8th of July so not much time left to see it! (Only found out about it today ).

Anyway, details you can take a peek at www.goethe.de/an/syd/ensgrues.htm but basically, it's just Bay 4, at the ATP in Redfern, directly out of the station (signs direct you so yeah...), open from 12pm to 6pm.

es wird mir freuen......ob ich in die naehe von Redfern war.........aber ich tut mir wirklich leid.

This thing was rather dull. It sort of, well, sucked! Couple of diplays, nothing revolutionary. The most interesting part was buying some gingerbread that was a heart shaped and had "Herzliche Grüße" on it. It was goooood gingerbread.

I did howeve learn that "Das Boot" really is about 'ein Boot'.
