hey

i have a question in my assignment. to list the features and specifications of
software. could someone please explain to me the difference between a feature
and a specification and give me an example? i tried asking the teacher but she
wouldn't help

Specifications could mean the hardware requirements, required to run the software efficiently. E.g. Minimum HDD space: 5 GB, CPU : 1.8 GHz Intel Core 2 duo, RAM: 1 GB.

Features are different parts of the software that enable the user to do different tasks. E.g. a word processor allows a user to type (1 feature), allows users to add graphs and images (2nd feature), allows the use of wizards to assist the user in inserting a new graph (3rd feature), spell check (4th feature) etc
