I'm not sure about any of mine :)

but I think they are something like:
English - however long it takes to do orals
Maths - 2.5 - 3
Chem - 2 - 2.5??

And that's all the exams I have because the others are all assignments :D

Although for my English or maths B exams, I am going to need one of those time-turner things like in Harry Potter, because they're on at the same time :D
Do you have external exams in Queensland?
I heard that you didnt but I wasnt sure

Maybe until 4.
No offense - but isn't that abusing the system?

What do you mean?
In NSW, we have the HSC, and in turn, a UAI to determine our placing in the State, and gives Unis an opportunity to accept us. Whilst the UAI isn't the only factor influencing whether or not Unis accept us, it is a major one.

Re: How long were your half yearlys?

Ah, I see. Well...basically we have the QCS test which tests basic skills like reading/maths/essay writing and stuff. So then everyone sits that, and they use that as a benchmark for judging your school (if everyone gets As on the QCS test then your school is really good...and vice versa). Then they take your internal rank and they kind of scale it up or down, depending on whether your school was good (= lots of competition) or not, and they fit you into a giant rank with everyone who does your subject.

After that, I think it works pretty much the same as in NSW, except we get an OP of 1 - 24 or something, which is kind of random...
