What are the differences between a lecture, a tutorial and a seminar (my journalism 1 subject is a seminar, I'm not sure what that means)??? Approx how many other students would be in each of these different kinds of classes? And is it true that students sometimes teach you in tutorials?

a lecture is held in a massive hall, depending on your course could have upto around 500 people or so in it
a tutorial is much more like high school classes, most have around 20-30 people in them (although some have a lot more)
im not entirely sure what a seminar is, im guessing bigger than a tute but smaller than a lec with a lot of interaction
yes it is true that sometimes students teach tutes

a tute is like high skool classes where u ask questions about the course content and has a more personal atmosphere where as a lec would be just a couple of hundred people sitting in a massive room trying not to fall asleep while the lecturer puts up gigabytes worth of notes on powerpoint
