f(x)=ln(5x-2)/ln2
f'(x)= [5/(5x-2)]/ln2
= 5/(5xln2-2ln2)

f(x)=ln(5x-2)/ln2

the ln2 is constant.. so yeah

and for say ln[ f(x) ]

the derivative is f'x / f(x)

just a general rule...
