Anyone here know the difference between a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Business Administration?

At my university (UOW) a BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) is a generalist degree, giving you a 'sample' of business subjects- in other words it is useless if you want to become a certain professional. Bachelor of Commerce has a first year 'core' where you do a range of subjects, then in your second/third years you specialise or 'major' in one or more areas, taking you on the path to professional recognition- ie Accountancy, Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Economics and so forth.
