if you can borrow a copy of photoshop 7.0 or CS its one of the best digital arts programs around.... it can be difficult to learn but if you experiment you should puick it up quickly ......v. pricey so try to borrow it or find a copy.

Completely agree with lislabella....

Adobe Photoshop 7.0 or CS are brilliant programs for working your photographs and creating digital art :)

It is a difficult program to get your head around without someone guiding you in some way though. Looking into a Photoshop course may be of benefit to you.
Community colleges usually run one or something similar, and the National Art School is running one for their Semester 2 short courses. (That's if you're in Sydney though)

If you are in Sydney, look up the College of Fine Arts, UNSW. They also run short courses and may have something running in the next school holidays, or evening/weekend courses for semester two.

Some people also find books or online tutorials helpful :)

I agree with the previous posts. Photoshop v.7 and CS are probably the best programs out there in terms of digital media when you want to work on photos. There are many tutorials out around on the net, but I've had 6 years of experience with digital media, I suggest you should just sit down, allocate perhaps a couple of hours or so, and just experiment. Thats perhaps the best way to learn.

Good luck with it.
