Heya Everyone...
I'm doing an assignment on the disabled, and need to form a social definition for it, generally what society thinks what disabled means.What characteristics it holds?.. what makes a person disabled... etc.. If u could give me a hand and just reply what u would define being 'disabled' as, that would be great!

anyways heres a definition which may help
- Impaired, as in physical functioning.
- Physically impaired people considered as a group. Often used with the.
- Disabled is the clear preference in contemporary American English in referring to people having either physical or mental impairments, with the impairments themselves preferably termed disabilities.
