I wanted to use my old Teac discman until I have enough money for an MP3 player. Is it possible to get a remote for it or are they only made for Sony?

i doubt the teac one can handle the remote because of its older style.

im sure mp3 players have remotes.

yeah true

and its pointless for mp3 players to have a remote, the size of them are about the size of a remote

and for a cd-player... generally if you wanted a remote with display, you can easily tell if its possible, in the earphone jack, check and see if the earphone hole extends a little rectangle out as well, if it is, it will also support LCD remotes, if not, then i doubt it.

Remotes these days are $80 :| Its stupid. My advice, stick with out a remote, if the discman dies, Dick Smith have a $30 discman selling, its pretty ordinary, but if you live on music, it'll do its job... :) ( i noted you said old lol )
