hey guys i need to deliver a speech on the topic of discovery that has to be 3-5 minutes in length, and i need to develop a clear thesis or point of view on Discovery and its significance in our lives if anyone could help that would be great

you can reference your prescribed text and related text but thats optional

should also use the syllabus rubric to formulate the argument

This is just my opinion but I feel you need to look at why discoveries are significant in someone's life. The question is very broad and you could use almost any aspect of the rubric when forming your thesis. Maybe look at the idea that discoveries are important because they provide the opportunity to develop new understandings and perceptions.
