I dunno if this is a mistake with the program, or I am just misunderstanding, but take a look at this:

i put in 97 for mathematics (2u)
and it says:
scaling +
scaled mark out of 50: 47.5

47.5 x 2 is less than 97??!? but it had a ' + ' under 'scaling'?

Software design and development, 2002, i put in 90
and it says:
scaling +
scaled mark out of 50: 44.3

which is again less than 90%

sorry if theres somethihng obvious that ive missed/if these has been brought up before.

The marks you are entering are aligned marks. No meaningful comparisons can be made between aligned marks and scaled marks.

The plus and minus symbols indicate whether the overall scaling for the course was, on average, positive or negative.
