Umm search around on sites such as -

New Scientist -
(go to right hand top of screen try a search in 'disease' - however, you might be hard pressed finding Aust. scientist)

or - http://abc.net.au/science/news/health/HealthRepublish_856461.htm

or -
http://www.google.com.au/search?hl=en&ie=ISO-8859-1&q=epidemiology+AND+"new+study"&meta=cr=countryAU

Alternatively just try an Australian google search ( http://www.google.com.au/ ) on maybe 'epidemiology' or 'epidemiologist'. To be honest I couldn't find a thing, especially Australian related. Good luck!!

it will cite authors..just search for a disease.. and a name.. hopefulli male will pop up..
