Hey, first thread, nice..

anyway, what is the environmental impact of the H2SO4 electrolyte in a Lead Acid cell?

Is it just that you have to dispose of them in special containers?

The electrolyte will be saturated with lead ions as well as being highly acidic, so there is a heavy metal issue in disposal.
