Asking for a friend (who IMO is decent at maths and is capable of doing Extension 2 provided that they put in the effort needed):

Has anyone here done Ext. 2 maths through distance education, or heard of people’s experiences of doing the course that way??
Any opinions would be appreciated !! It would be great if anyone could offer some advice about it

I did reg math, it's fine if you are going to push yourself to do it each day (it's easy just to do your work 1 day a week and that's it - seriously not joking, so don't fall into that trap).

Only thing is I didn't like the material they made me do. Looking back, I dunno why, they were perfectly fine questions. I just would have rather done the questions from the textbook everyone uses like cambridge - just because I know it's well known and well used.
