hey guys i am doing life and crimes of harry lavender as a prescribed text i came up with these techniques to use
ð Figurative Language; similies and metaphors add conceptual depth, detail and atmosphere e.g. “Dashboard of BMW was like the cockpit of a supersonic jet”
ð Threatening Overtones; huge cranes “... rose above the city like Gods, strong menancing all seeing”
ð Repetition; adds dramatic effect to the voice e.g. “waited and waited...awfully quiet or awfully dead”
ð Imagery; Monorails descriptions compared to “snake like creatures”
ð Sport Imagery; strengthens cat and mouse relationship between sally villos and Claudia. Demonstrating Day’s ability to manipulate language “ she looked at me cautiously waiting for me to open service”
ð Hyperbole; ‘oldest woman in the world’ used to differentiate those with wealth and those without “I walked the one million steps back into the world.”

What do you guys think? do i need to add more? My major aspect is the language through each voice
