Ok, in the enrollment booklet, it said that our compulsory fees for first years are $590, however it is possible that these can increase.

Is it possible that they'd increase by huge amounts in humanities courses (English, History, etc)? If so, how much?

Those fees, are not dependent upon faculty.

They are compulsory subscriptions to the Univeristy of Sydney Union, the Sports Union, and the SRC. Plus a first year building contribution.

It will be required to be paid yearly probably with small increases at the rate of about $480 a year assuming VSU isn't passed.

Yeah, I get that part. But they can throw more fees on you depending on your subjects (which is why they encourage blank cheques before you enroll). I just wanna know how high it can get.

That is your HECS contribution.

Which is dependent upon the type of subjects you take, such as how many arts, how many education, if you take a science subject etc. you decide that then so if you cant do one subject for some reason your HECS might change.
