nah, you can attend pretty much any lectures...the only time that universities ever need to see ID is exams

LOL.... imagine if you got called on by the lecturer to answer a question... (I don't know if they do that though in lectures lol)...

"oh, yeah I don't really do this course, I'm just browsing"

nah they don't ID you for lectures. there is normally 100-500 people per lecture, it would take too long.

and the lecturers' don't usually pick on people to answer questions, but it would be fun to see someone in that spot. hahaha!! just make sure you sit at the back if you do decide to sit in on someone else's lecture!!

Pretty sure they don't care even in tutes, I've been in classes that I am not timetabled for and tutor doesn't care.

yeah, another reason that i was thinking was:
say if u wanted to learn something, eg. how to program- u can just turn up to a Software engineering subject...and learn for free. ;) :D

You do need ID or most med things. I think it's only the lectures which aren't secured, but for everything else (especially the labs) you need to have a med ID.

ID during labs? When I was at UNSW we didn't have to show ID for Chem, Bio or Maths labs ...
