Do they mark the drama theory harshly? (1 Viewer)

Sorry to post another question, but was interested. Surely they can't expect drama students to write spot-on essays > We're not english students after all (well I do ext 2) but that's besides the point. It's drama!

notes from the marking centre said something about more students writing drama "responses" rather than "essays" and that they liked that. They're not gonna mark you on the structure of your pargraph. They're gonna mark based on your analysis of your texts, the structure of your overall essay (ie. that you talk about things in some sort of order, not just blurt out random facts) and how clear your argument is. I'd say argument becomes important in drama, simply because like you said, your candititure isn't all ee2 students, they are not expecting beautifully written essays that say nothing, what they are expecting is a response that argues a point and that argument is what will seperate you from the pack.
