Say in school you finish learning a topic (say polynomials) and you move to say (parametrics). Do you constantly practice the previous topics just so that you dont forget them ?

I find this the problem in exams. I mostly forget the concepts of the questions because I didn't practice it throughout the term and just crammed it in by doing past papers before the exams.

it's not a problem for me, concepts tend to stick in my head quite easily

Nope. I do past papers 3-4 weeks before exams, if I forgot something then I would brush over the textbook.

Generally i study topics everydat what we are doing in class, and on weekends i would brush over everything.

You decide on a study plan which works for you, if it is like me, brush over things weekly, or monthly

I find it fun because i really hate doing the same topics of maths hours on end

I don't feel the need to constantly practice the previous topics. When exams are coming close I usually use another textbook from the library or past papers to revise what I've learnt. Making a summary book is also useful & good study too.

Hmm... I think I should at least go over the previous topic each week so that I don't get slammed and try to cram in a lot of math before the exam... lol

Do as much as you can as soon as you get home but leave a few questions to come back to on another day. Then study for other subjects/topics. Sometimes I'll skip doing the homework altogether to study for another test.

I do start studying when I get home.

Just I don't have all that time to fit in my other subjects on the weekends. Anyway I did 2-3 hrs of math today. Reasonably pleased with Apps of calc. to the phy world. Thought it was hard at first glance, but I got the hang of it.
