If so, what is your companies policy for complaints? (Social Engineering 101.)

I used to work for maccas. If I got a complaint it would usually be solved by giving them some free food or like talking to the manager

So, lets say someone complained about the burger, would they get a free burger? or, lets say somebody said their chips were stale, what would happen?
