Typequick's installed there, and it's ok as far as they go (not extremely annoying, unless you get the kiddie version.. gawd..), but you need to have the disk and a set up account within the program to use it... And it's not free. I don't know of any free typing programs, unless you wanted to try and find some abandonware or something.

There is a Sega game called "Typing of the Dead". Its just like the arcade game "House of the Dead", but except you don't kill zombies by shooting them with with a light gun, you type words that are infront of them to shoot them.....quite fun!

go to download.com and search for typing programs. they have some free ones.
i dl one long ago and it was basic but good, just one rpgram telling you to type sertain characters before advancing on, you had to gain the required typing speed. sorry i forgot the name though.
also when you go to download.com, also pull down the menu to show only freeware/shareware/non licence etc.

I think some woman had > 200 wpm but she used an EBCDIC keyboard.
My typing is like 20 wpm... but I recently gave up using two fingers to the pro[er method so it's understandable, I'm improving though.

World's fastest typist
She doesn't use a Qwerty keyboard but keeping up above 150 wpm for 50 minutes is quite an achievement. She looks like the ugly chick in Monster's Ink though.
