Hi,

Does anyone have any good textbooks that can i buy for additional references? Like, a book with a glossary of "buzz" words (aka business studies jargon)?

And can anyone supply with a copy of the current business studies syllabus (i'm doing the hsc this year..2006)


Does anyone also have a decent, thorough summary of the first topic (Business management and change)

excel yr11 and 12 pocket book: business studies. this is for definitions.

if your looking for a good textbook, i suggest you to get longman business studies hsc or business studies in action

There's HSC Business Studies by Longman/Sykes it's really thick and very detailed and at the end of each chapter there is a glossary of terms, it's a bit expensive though ($40+)
If you want something less detailed but has all that you need to know for the course then maybe you might want to try: Cambridge HSC Business Studies Study Guide

Don't you have book hire at your school? They should be able to provide you with at least one half-decent textbook - we have Business Studies HSC by Sykes, Hansen and Codsi or something. Has a glossary and explains stuff pretty thoroughly and simply, I think.

Yeah that's the one I was talking about, we used it too, it is very good, but takes time to go through cause it's so freakin' thick!
