Does getting a band 6 in a 2 unit subject scale better than an E3 in an Ext. subject (1 Viewer)

If I got a band 6 in Society and Culture, or french continuers or even ancient history, would that scale better than getting an E3 in history extension or english extension 1

band 6>E3 usually, not in all cases though
