The ones I've tried (veet, nair) are just like shaving.

And I wouldn't recommend using it anywhere "down there"- you might cause an irritation or an infection.

kindof unrelated, but does anyone remember this evil shit called "EpilStop" (i think that's what it was called) It was on some infomercial and was this natural hair removal growth inhibiting miracle orangle oil soothing infused spray.

Well I was a sucker, went to Danoz Direct, bought some, practically burnt all this skin off my legs. That shit stings, it smells, it cant differentiate between skin and hair, AND didn't take all the hair off, just kindof.. fried it a little.

That's my story. Been too scared to try any kind of hair removal cream since.

Well it doesn't get rid of the root of the hair, only waxing and epilating can do that. That's why it's like shaving.

I wouldn't recommend using depilatory cream or "moose" (mousse :p) down there...

if it's designed to be used on the face, you shouldn't use it on the pubic region because the skin is even more sensitive.

- more expensive than shaving
- hair removal lasts the same amount of time as shaving
- smells funny
- potentially messy
- doesn't thin out your hairs (ie no improvement in the long run)

= fail.

I don't like to use removal creams, since it doesn't remove the roots, my hairs grow back in no time. Besides, I always feel it burns just a tiny bit, so I kind of worry about what the stuff will do to my skin if it can dissolve hair.

Buy an epilator. You won't regret it. I use this one. It's good.
