Ok, i got:

76 Biology
85 AdvEnglish
40/50 ext 1 english
48/50 ext 2 english
79 Visual Arts
81 French Beginners

UAI: 78.6

Was I screwed over, or does this all make sense?? My teachers think its a bit low, and I was expecting a lot more...Any comments???

I've estimated your scaled marks and state positions:

Course Scaled (/50) UAI Contrib. Percentile
Biology 28.5 57.0/100 Top 47%
English (Advanced) 38.1 76.2/100 Top 22%
English Extension 1 37.4 37.4/50 Top 50%
English Extension 2 45.2 45.2/50 Top 10%
Visual Arts 22.3 44.6/100 Top 50%
French Beginners 28.9 57.9/100 Top 33%
Scaled Aggregate: 318.2/500
Estimated UAI: ~79.30

Whilst you performed quite well in your English courses (as your scaled marks for those three are well above the average of 25.0), they only constituted four of your 10 units. Your performance in the remaining six units was closer to average.

An average performance in all courses would tend towards the median UAI of 66.

The calculation seems correct to me.

Yep, nothing seems wrong with it. I have full confidence in the UAC calculating it right:)

Its just peple don't really understand how the UAI works; and then whinge about it. Personally, I think the UAI is a pretty good measure of ranking and uni entrance
